If you want to book cheap flights to Rome, Italy (or even Milan, Venice or Bologna) then you’ll need to plan ahead. Italy is busy in Summer. More travellers means more demand on flights, hotels and long queues at attractions like Vatican City, Colleseum and along Venice’s famed canals. More travellers means it’s generally more expensive in Summer.

A lot of travellers agonise over when to book the cheapest flights, however if you see a great price, you should book it or miss out. Prices rarely go down as the cheap seats sell first.
