Starting from November 2023, United will increase capacity across the Pacific Ocean from Sydney to San Francisco
to twice daily using a Boeing 777 aircraft. This increase is in addition to the direct flights in operation from:

  • Brisbane to San Francisco
  • Brisbane to Los Angles
  • Sydney to Los Angeles
  • Sydney to Houston
  • Melbourne to San Francisco
  • Melbourne to Los Angeles

These flights then connect onwards to dozens of destinations in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central/South American and Europe! This increased capacity is a bonus for United flyers heading to the USA, but also for Star Alliance members looking to book Round the World tickets.

For Elite travellers this increased capacity also means more Polaris Business Class seats which means boosted Frequent Flyer status credits and more comfort and fine dining on the 13 hour flight across the Pacific Ocean.

More seats can only mean one thing, eventually those seats will need to be filled so make sure you sign up to hear about the latest flight sales.
